The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled Thursday that Privacy Shield, the EU-U.S. data protection agreement, is invalid In order for U.S. companies to use Europeans' personal data some sort of legal justification for doing so is needed. The reason is that the U.S. lacks an EU-strength federal privacy law (or indeed any comprehensive federal privacy law at all).

The provisions of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/389 supplementing EU Directive no. 2366/2015 of the European Parliament and of the Council (PSD2) on "regulatory technical standards for strict client authentication and open, common and secure communication standards (EU Regulation)" entered into force on September 14th aimed at an increased degree of security regarding online payments, at merchants or ATMs.

The legal entities in financial difficulty with budgetary debts higher or equal with 1.000.000 RON, can use a variety of restructuring measures in order to avoid the opening of insolvency proceedings if they fulfil the conditions of article 2 of the Governmental Ordinance no. 6/2019.
